There is no general in Shu, Liao Huachong pioneer, in fact, there is a folk saying, called Wang Pingkan Great Ren!

There is no general in Shu, Liao Huachong pioneer!

This originally meant that the Shu Han camp in the later period lacked young talents, and it was even necessary to work hard to serve as a pioneer. However, it was mistaken by many readers as saying that Liao Hua was too mediocre and incompetent.

Now when we read the history books again, we find that Liao Hua actually carried a big black cauldron for the Shu kingdom, and his own strength is actually not mediocre, and he can be regarded as an underestimated general of the Three Kingdoms.

What is less known is that 'there is no general in Shu, Liao Huachong pioneer' actually has another saying, that is, there is no general in Shu, Wang Ping can be a great task!

Today's protagonist is a low-key and highly appreciated general in the Shu Han camp, Wang Ping!

There is no general in Shu, Liao Huachong pioneer, in fact, there is a folk saying, called Wang Pingkan Great Ren!

Speaking of this Wang Ping, many people don't know much about it, or even barely know that there is this person's existence, which is said to be the ghost of Mr. Luo Guanzhong.

Because "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is simply a star machine, Luo Dao wants to force the drama to whoever he wants to fire, and even cuts off the scenes that others should have. Unfortunately, the honest Wang Ping has no connections and no background, and only plays a dragon set role in the book, and there are many such Three Kingdoms characters, and the editor will put it in the future article.

01

Cao Wei, who is unknown from the nationality, worked for many years

Many of our Readers of the Three Kingdoms first heard about Wang Ping, and they all learned about it from the Battle of Ma Mo Lost Street Pavilion, and many people may not know that this great general of the late Shu Han Dynasty also came from Cao Wei's side!

In that era of heroes, Wang Ping's debut was relatively early. At first, he was an employee of Boss Cao, because there were too many outstanding salesmen in the company, such as the Xiahou brothers, the Cao brothers, etc., their light was too dazzling, so Wang Ping was not happy in the company.

In 219 AD, Cao Cao and Liu Bei competed for Hanzhong, and Cao Cao, who had won every battle, was beaten by Liu Bei and had no choice but to retreat, originally unhappy with the Cao Wei clique, and when he was defeated, Wang Ping also took advantage of the situation to jump to the Shu Han camp.

(In this battle, the Cao Wei general Xiahou Yuan was beheaded by Huang Zhong, and it was also in this last battle between Cao Cao and Liu Bei that poor Yang Xiu lost his life because of a chicken bone!) )

02

Although the street pavilion was defeated, Wang Ping's military ability was displayed

Wang Ping, who was classified as Shu Han, kept a low profile as always, and this silence was ten years!

Ten years later, in 228 AD, Wang Ping finally came to prominence in a battle, although it was a battle that was defeated by Ma Chen, but this did not affect the strength of the powerful generals.

There is no general in Shu, Liao Huachong pioneer, in fact, there is a folk saying, called Wang Pingkan Great Ren!

Yes, it is the famous Battle of the Street Pavilion, and the record of this passage in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms is basically the same as that in the history books. Zhuge Liang sent his own esteemed ma Mo to defend an important position, the street pavilion.

After arriving at the battlefield, Ma Mo did not listen to Wang Ping's advice and had to station his army on the mountain, and only gave him a few thousand people to camp at the bottom of the mountain. In the end, Ma Mo's army was blocked by Zhang Hao and wrapped dumplings on the mountain, but thanks to Wang Ping's suspicious troops at the bottom of the mountain, ma Mo was rescued and the losses of the Shu army were recovered to the greatest extent.

After this war, Ma Mo was killed because of the irreparable losses caused by the paper soldiers, and Wang Ping was reused by Zhuge Liang for his outstanding performance.

03

In the late Shu Han Dynasty, he bowed down and died

In addition to this incident, in the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Luo Dao never gave Wang Ping the opportunity to show his face, so that many Readers of the Three Kingdoms were not very familiar with Wang Ping, and Wang Ping became an underestimated general in the Three Kingdoms.

So what happened to the later Wang Ping? We can only look for it in the history books. After reading the historical records, I think you will have to fight for him, obviously a general with very good comprehensive strength, but unfortunately he was hidden by Mr. Luo Guanzhong.

Because the history books are boring and difficult to understand, I will explain it in the vernacular.

After the Battle of Jieting, Wang Ping was promoted by Zhuge Liang to chief of staff, a general of the Court, and was given the title of Marquis of Ting, and he continued to be in charge of a mysterious army of the Shu state (about this unit, more detailed in the next article, welcome to pay attention to It)!

There is no general in Shu, Liao Huachong pioneer, in fact, there is a folk saying, called Wang Pingkan Great Ren!

Later, Zhuge Liang took him with him in many northern expeditions, and he and his special forces performed well, during which he also repelled the Cao Wei general Zhang Guo for the second time!

When Zhuge Liang died, Wei Yan was able to hack Wei Yan to death because of a conflict with his colleagues and the destruction of the unity of the company, and it was Wang Ping who reprimanded Wei Yan's men, and as a result, these people fled, and another company colleague, Ma Dai, was able to hack Wei Yan to death.

A few more years later, in 243 AD, Wang Ping took the position of overseer of the army, the commander of the Northern Military Subdistrict of Shu Han, and the town of Hanzhong, during which he also defeated the 100,000 troops of the State of Wei.

The book "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" once recorded that Ma Zhong was in Nanzhong at that time, guarding against Nan man; Deng Zhi garrisoned Yong'an to guard Eastern Wu; Wang Ping was in Hanzhong, guarding against Cao Wei; The three men each guarded one side to ensure the peace of the Shu Han regime, and the prestige of the Three Marquises of Peace began at this time.

Zhuge Liang said in the "Table of Renunciation" that "loyal people forget to be outsiders, and cover the special encounters of the former emperor", if Zhuge Liang is still alive later, he will have to be impressed by Wang Ping's loyalty.

Sometimes we give the loyal aura of 'bow down to the end, and after death' to Zhuge Chengxiang, who has left a history behind, ignoring the existence of some small people in comparison.

This is the statue of Wang Ping taken by the editor in the Wuhou Ancestral Hall in Chengdu, in the bustling crowd I heard the tour guide gushing about the heroic deeds of Liu Guanzhang, Ma Chao Zhao Yun and other great generals, but no one will look at Wang Ping, who seems to be not so outstanding, and there are quite regrets in his heart.

There is no general in Shu, Liao Huachong pioneer, in fact, there is a folk saying, called Wang Pingkan Great Ren!

But history is like this, it is not the history of a single hero, it requires countless nameless little people to gather into a vast river of history.

Although Wang Ping did not get his due name in the hearts of readers, I think it is still those of us who have hearts that we have the heart. As for himself, he was thinking about how to maintain the stability of the Shu Han Dynasty and the stability of the country, rather than the floating name of the future generations!
