The village of Niangre in Xiaqu Town, where the stool is located, is about 4300 meters above sea level, which is one of the villages closest to the epicenter. Wangdan said there were more than 80 herders in the village, all of whom set up tents in the evening to avoid possible aftershocks. "The family is fine, the house is cracked." He said that this season, such as the county night is a little cold, fortunately in the tent to grow a stove, rice dumplings, butter tea, air-dried yak beef, etc., there is also running water in the yard. According to the official information released by Tibet, after the earthquake, Wu Yingjie, secretary of the Tibet Autonomous Regional Party Committee, asked Nagqu to continue to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the situation, and that all dangerous houses should be moved out to ensure the safety of personnel; materials should be quickly mobilized and the psychological comfort of the herdsmen should be effectively carried out.

It is reported that the 6.1 magnitude earthquake is the largest earthquake in Tibet this year.
