IT House news on December 19, the 79th World Science Fiction Convention held in Washington, USA, Chengdu was successfully selected as the host city of the 81st World Science Fiction Convention in 2023.
According to reports, this is the second time that the World Science Fiction Convention has been held in an Asian city after Yokohama, Japan in 2007.
IT House learned that the World Science Fiction Convention was founded in 1939, hosted by the World Science Fiction Association (WSFS), held annually, so far has been held 79 times, is the world's largest and most influential international science fiction event, its "Hugo Award" for the World Science Fiction Award, known as the "Nobel Prize of science fiction".
In 2015, the English version of "Three-Body" won the "Hugo Award" Best Novel Award, and the world's science fiction will focus all its attention on this work, and the global science fiction psychedelic fans have recognized the unique charm of Chinese science fiction.
