Recently, the No. 7 Space - Guangdong Museum of Art Young Artists Academic Nomination Exhibition • The Twenty-second "Post-Bit Human: Zheng Long Yihai's Visual Experiment" hosted by the Guangdong Museum of Art opened at the Guangdong Museum of Art, with Wang Shaoqiang as the chief curator and Feng Yuan as the curator.
In the context of global "digital survival", human beings have survived on technology for the first time in history. Machines are humanizing and humans are being digitized. In the picture of the development of life technology and artificial intelligence technology, science and technology have brought new life forms to people, and political, cultural, and artistic systems have been affected as never before. The value judgment of binary opposing thinking may no longer adapt to the current pluralistic present, and people have to explore new ways to reconsider the new propositions brought about by the technology of the new era.

Zheng Long Yihai graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and master's degree in cross-media art from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Currently lives and works in Guangzhou. Zheng Longyihai's works are always full of experimentation and pioneering, with a sense of crisis that human beings will rely too much on science and technology, and his artistic practice revolves around constantly reflecting on the issue of technology and human symbiosis, trying to use biology to analyze the current rapidly developing world, and discussing how to deal with the relationship between humans and science and technology. With keen thinking in artistic practice, he constantly expanded his art world, painting, text, photography, moving images, and even data, integrated circuit boards, screens and other iconic elements of the Internet era, have become the medium for his practice of visual art creation, and in the process of constantly improving his artistic concepts, thus creating a series of works such as "Electronic Biology", "Interface Syndrome", "Post-Bit Human" and so on.
In his work "Bit City" created for this exhibition, he uses recombinant, exaggerated and abstract artistic techniques to present the imagination and philosophical speculation of life in the era of science and technology through images and installations, and the future city he reconstructs is constantly evolving and upgrading like a machine.
The exhibition will be on view until January 8, 2022.
