French kinetic sculpture artist Vincent Le Roy, born in Paris in 1968, specializes in using "movement" as a source of artistic creation. His work provokes us to think about the most interesting issues in the world today, namely the relationship between ourselves and speed and the distance between imagination and reality.

His dynamic installations can be seen as a subtle combination of poetry and low technology. In the atmosphere created by the artist, the viewer's perception will be led, as if caught in a hypnotic and fascinating universe, and the viewer will also be able to feel the poetry, enjoy the peace, and trigger meditation. Vincent has exhibited his artworks around the world and has collaborated with international brands such as Rémy Martin, Hermès, Iris Bergeron. Fan · Heben, Nike and other cross-border cooperation.

The light and shadow of the slow-tuned rhythm uses "low technology" to compile fantasy landscape poems

The exhibition features 12 installations and manuscripts by precious artists, including the most iconic Vincent Le Roy's giant dynamic installations that have been exhibited in important French public art spaces such as the Grand Palais, the Centre Pompidou and the Palace of Versailles.

According to reports, associated with Vincent's creation is the "Optical Art" trend that dates back to the rise of France in the 1950s. From Sunrise to Arabian Window to Black Diamond, artists create rhythms and jumps in optical illusions by mobilizing the cyclical trajectories of different geometric forms, using the interlacing of longitude and latitude and the overlap of colors. The viewer's visually excited feedback is just like the dizziness and tremor of falling into a dream.

Manuscript by Vincent Leroy.

In Cold Days, Stone Age and Ripples, Vincent Leroy adds layering and storytelling to his work through the application of mirror materials and the scheduling of light and shadow—the fragments seem to "breathe" evenly and slowly under the artist's careful calculations, and the fragmented images thus have "life-like" fluctuations.

Vincent Leroy has always had a certain ritual reverence and yearning for the behemoths floating in the universe. He uses Nebula as a metaphor for the interweaving of the energies of the subtle things in the universe. "Nebula" hanging down from the ceiling, in the space of nearly 100 square meters, these huge floating bodies that are constantly copied "dance" lightly in the contrasting color field, creating a stunning sense of compulsion visually, so that visitors who step into it have the illusion of distortion of the enclosed space - it seems to walk into the slow time zone of "Miller Star", freely wandering, touching and exploring the vast interstellar "dust", as if joining a dimensional journey of time and space, the pace and speed of life have been slowed down. Leads the viewer to rethink and perceive the poetry of time and the beauty of all things.

Vincent Leroy's masterpiece Sunrise

"Northern Halo" is Vincent's more complex exploration of space, time, motion, form, sound, light and shadow, materials, and textures. In this immersive work with a diameter of up to 8 meters, the artist actively creates a theatrical monologue space – ethereal music comes from all sides, and the white aura rotates in a dark space. The expansion of the temporal dimension and auditory perception makes the artistic experience no longer limited to viewing, and the sensory stimulation that the work can provide is amplified and broadened. The viewer is invited to walk through it, experiencing the dual interventions of visual feedback and bodily perception.

The new dynamic light and shadow work "Slow Mirror" debuted in China

In addition to Vincent Leroy's most iconic giant dynamic installation, his new dynamic work of light and shadow, Slow Mirror, which debuted in China, will also be exhibited. This is a city concept work specially customized by the artist for Guangzhou K11. Composed of acrylic lenses, the work absorbs light, reflects water and reacts to the surrounding landscape, creating a kaleidoscopic, abstract, and ever-changing visual effect. It is as if it is a filter between dream and reality, which makes the daily scenery have a poetic brushstroke. In the tree house space on the fourth floor of K11 in Guangzhou, this work will be transformed into a strange dream poem in different twilights and nights.
