Chu Suiliang's "Facsimile of the Orchid Pavilion Preface"

1. Chu Suilianglin's "Orchid Pavilion Preface" and Feng Chengsu's "Orchid Pavilion Preface" are very different in terms of hook pen, which is manifested in three types of situations:

The hook is presented as a variety of changes in weight, thickness and angle because it has a corresponding emotional connotation, when the hook pen is completed with heavier strokes, there must be a corresponding stroke action, and this stroke action is not just a homeopathic hook after the completion of the stroke before the hook. Obviously, Chu Suiliang did not ask for this.
4. Chu Suiliang changed the form of the original stroke in the pro-work as follows:
(1) Change the folding edge hook to an arc lift. In the line of writing, the folding edge needs to be done slowly and instantaneously, which obviously requires concentration, and the arc lifting is the most convenient and labor-saving method of writing.
(2) The stroke of the segmented arc fold is directly hooked. This is to simplify the process of segmented arc folding, eliminating the need for pen gradient process due to emotional expression.

Chu Suiliang's hook pen change changes the direction of the line pen with variable angle to flat hook (vertical hook) and straight hook (horizontal hook), and the flat hook and straight hook can play a conventional balancing role for the knot, and also reduce the dynamic of the stroke and the corresponding font posture.
