Infiniti's third domestic model replaces the V6 engine with an advanced variable compression ratio turbocharged engine and focuses on creating a sense of luxury.
In the singing voice of brand spokesperson Wang Lihong, Infiniti announced the pre-sale price of the new generation of QX60: 450,000 yuan for the Classic Edition and Comfort Edition; 500,000 yuan for the 4WD Excellence Edition, 4WD Deluxe Edition and 4WD Premium Edition; and 660,000 yuan for the 4WD Flagship Edition.
Last year's QX60 Monograph Concept car already showed us the design ideas of the new QX60, and the production version was unveiled in June this year. The new QX60 shares a lot of technology with the Nissan Pathfinder, code-named R53, and its overall architecture is still continued from the previous generation, but the body uses a lot of high-strength materials.
In overseas markets, the new QX60 still uses the same 299 hp VQ35 V6 engine as the previous model and Pathfinder, and the gearbox has been changed from CVT to ZF's 9-speed automatic transmission. The domestic version uses Nissan's unique variable compression ratio 2.0T VC-Turbo turbo engine, which can reach a maximum power of 252 horsepower, while the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers under the WLTC cycle is less than 10 liters.
In addition to the advanced powertrain, the highlight of the new generation QX60 is mainly the fully upgraded interior and exterior design. Its semi-aniline leather seats feature a diamond pattern and extensive use of leather, metal and solid wood trims throughout the cab, which not only improves comfort, but also eases of care. Zero-gravity seats are heated, ventilated and massaged.
The three rows of seats are arranged from low to high, so that even the last row of passengers has a good view. At the same time, its soundproof carpet area increased by 25%, and the area of door panel sound-absorbing materials also increased by 20%. Both the front windshield and rear side doors are equipped with acoustic noise-reducing glass, creating the stage for a BOSE Performance-to-the-best sound system with up to 17 speakers.
The new generation of QX60 uses the INFINITI InTouch 2.0 intelligent interconnection system to connect life inside and outside the car. Based on voice commands, the vehicle can be set up with a navigation system, control sunroofs or windows, seats, and air conditioning. The 12.3-inch full LCD instrument, 12.3-inch touch screen and 10.8-inch HUD achieve three-screen linkage.
The SUV, which has a body length of more than 5100 mm, will have two seat layouts, six and seven seats, and a wheelbase of 2900 mm, providing the basis for spacious space. In addition to the pre-sale price, infiniti also announced five preferential policies at the event, including the first owner's lifetime warranty engine and gearbox. However, in the medium and large SUV market with strong hands, whether the QX60 can kill a bloody road for Infiniti deserves our continued attention.
