In the workshop of the China Railway Science and Technology Engineering Rail Equipment Base in Jiangxia, a reporter from the Yangtze River Daily entered the empty rail carriage and felt this new type of rail transit tool called "miniature light rail" and "super version of the cable car".

Under the operation of the staff, the blue-and-white empty rail vehicle slowly drove out of the workshop and stopped steadily in front of the mobile hand staircase. The door opened automatically, and the reporter walked down the hand-held staircase into the carriage.
When the reporter first went in, he felt that the space was a little smaller than the subway, but it was also bright and clean, and there were display screens to play news, programs, etc., and it was not long before it was fully adapted.
Stay a little longer to find that in fact, the empty rail is like a "miniature version of the light rail", "although the sparrow is small and complete", the lights, seats, armrests, etc. are set up very appropriately, sitting on the seat, looking at the scenery outside the car window, suddenly feeling that the field of vision is wide and the mood is relaxed.
When the vehicle starts, because it is not very fast, it does not feel much when riding, it is very smooth, and there is no sense of shaking hanging high in the air.
The cabs at both ends of the vehicle accommodate only one driver, and the rest of the space is full of various operating equipment and press keys. The vehicle is divided into manual and autonomous driving, and both driving mode technologies have passed.
Chen Yang, general manager of the Air Rail Division of China Railway Science and Industry Group, introduced that in order to study vehicle technology in an all-round way, the test line specially set up a slope of 50/1000 and a sharp turn of 50 meters in a curve radius to verify the adaptability and comfort of the air rail.
From the beginning to the end of the test line, a distance of about 1 kilometer, the feeling of sitting in the carriage is stable, the carriage environment is comparable to the subway, and the stability also makes passengers feel safe. After the reporter got off the car, he found that the original track had slope and corners, and there was no sense of riding in it.
It is said that China Railway Science and Industry Group has fully mastered the complete set of air rail system technology, the test line established in Wuhan has run safely and smoothly for 7,000 kilometers, applied for more than 100 national patents, including 23 national invention patents, and participated in the formulation of the industry standard "Hanging Monorail Transportation Technical Standards", which was recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a national technological innovation demonstration enterprise at the end of 2020.
