As soon as Musk's voice dropped, Rivian delivered the first R1T and R1S in September and December, respectively. As of mid-December, Rivian had produced 652 R1 series electric vehicles and delivered 386.

In order to further slap Musk in the face, Rivian officials announced that they will spend $5 billion (about 31.8 billion yuan) to build a second plant in Georgia, which is expected to be put into production in 2024 and can reach 400,000 vehicles per year. However, after the mass production of Rivian, there is still a long way to go to the road to profitability, and institutions such as Bank of America Securities believe that it will not be possible for Rivian to make money until 2025.

That being said, Rivian, who has the support of a large number of big guys, is a electric vehicle company that is not short of money, after all, Tesla is the only one in the new energy outlet, which is not a good thing for the market.
