Therefore, in the history of the Yuan Dynasty, there was also a Goryeo empress, all because Goryeo presented beautiful women to the Yuan Dynasty every year.
Therefore, from the beginning of Kublai Khan's founding, Goryeo submitted to the Yuan Dynasty and became its vassal state, and there was no war between the two countries. And when the Yuan Dynasty conquered Japan, Goryeo also sent troops to participate in the conquest of Japan. It can be seen that the two countries were quite friendly at that time, so Mongolia allowed Goryeo to exist as a vassal state and did not include it in its political map. After the death of King Wonjong of Goryeo, his son Wang Fu succeeded to the throne with the support of his ministers, king of Goryeo. In the history of Korea, Goryeo was indeed very good, unifying Silla and Baekje.
