As of 24:00 on December 16, the province has reported a total of 1,299 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia (including 709 imported from abroad), a total of 1,265 cases have been cured and discharged from hospital, 3 cases have died, 31 cases are currently isolated and treated in hospitals, and 627 people are still under medical observation.
At 0-24:00 on December 16, there was a new case of asymptomatic infection in the province (imported from abroad, arrived from Cambodia by plane on December 15, and was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person on December 16), turned into 0 confirmed cases on the same day, lifted 1 case of centralized isolation medical observation on the same day, and 23 cases were still under centralized isolation medical observation.

As of 24:00 on December 16, all 183 counties (cities, districts) in the province were low-risk areas.
