In recent years, Lianshi Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, has increased the development of the sheep industry, given full play to the strength of party members and cadres, people's congress deputies, CPPCC members, township sages and professional talents of expert colleges and universities, and fully supported the healthy and stable development of the sheep industry through "three service" measures such as technical guidance, policy publicity, and industrial promotion. Since nanxun district and Guang'an district of Sichuan Province carried out east-west poverty alleviation cooperation in 2018, the "Lake Sheep Into Sichuan Project" has been planned as a key industrial poverty alleviation project, and the experience and vitality of Nanxun have been injected into Guang'an. At present, the annual breeding volume of sheep in Lianshi Town has reached more than 55,000 heads, 75,000 head of commercial lake sheep are produced annually, the output of mutton is 1,800 tons, and the annual output value is 150 million yuan, which is exported to Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Sichuan and other places.
