On the 16th, on the occasion of the 50-day countdown to the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, a philatelic cultural exhibition called "National Business Card" shining the glory of the "Double Olympics" opened in Beijing Shougang Park. The exhibition reviews the development of the Olympic Games through "national business cards" such as stamps, postcards, and first day covers, and tells the expectations for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The exhibition is divided into three themes: Olympic Sports Stamp Collection, Igniting Passion to Pass on Dreams - Beijing Olympic Torch Relay, China and the Winter Olympics - Beijing Winter Olympics, and exhibits a total of 160 exhibition frames and 2560 stamps, postcards, first day covers and other exhibits related to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

The exhibits on display are provided by Tu Yueming, a sports stamp collector and torchbearer of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, who has been collecting stamps since middle school and has been collecting stamps for more than 40 years.
Even for professional philatelic enthusiasts, it is not easy to "save" more than 2,000 Olympic-related stamp collection patches.
When asked why he initially focused on the olympic theme, Tu Yueming said that after Xu Haifeng won the first Olympic gold medal for China at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984, he visited a sports-themed stamp exhibition in Beijing, and the winning postcards on display at the stamp exhibition still make him feel excited, "Since then, I have been fascinated by sports and Olympic-related stamp collections. ”
When introducing the section "Igniting Passion to Pass on Dreams - Beijing Olympic Torch Relay", Tu Yueming's tone was full of pride.
This theme features a confirmation letter from the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee after he was elected torchbearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, as well as a personalized stamp of the torchbearer based on his theme.
Before the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games, Tu Yueming's "Centennial Dream" special stamp collection has been exhibited across the country, and the exhibition tells the successful history of Beijing's bid to host the 2008 Summer Olympic Games through philatelic products. Tu Yueming said that as a philatelic enthusiast, he wanted to make his own contribution to the Olympics in this way. As a result, he was recommended as the torchbearer of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and relayed the Olympic torch at the Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park.
For the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics, Tu Yueming is ready to once again record this "glorious and unique" history in the form of philately.
"There are about 1,000 patches on display this time, and I want to exhibit them nationwide when all of them are completed. At the same time, I am also making a stamp collection with the theme of 'Host Country of the Winter Olympics', which consists of more than 1,000 patches, and plans to make a picture album after completion for more people to see."
