Hong Xiuquan could not stay in Guangzhou, and he could not return to the countryside of Huaxian. He made up his mind to go to Guangxi to find Feng Yunshan and actively prepared to launch an uprising. At that time, he was asking for baptism, but Luo Xiaoquan had not yet agreed, and he decided not to wait any longer. Baptism is a trivial matter for the launching of a great uprising. On July 21, 1847, he left Guangzhou, wearing a sword and heading straight for the Bauhinia Mountains.

Around this time, Hong Xiuquan completed his third book, The Original Dao Jue ShiXun. It was a clarion call to attack the feudal emperor. It said: "Yan Luo Demon is an old snake demon, the most eccentric and changeable, confusing and haunting the souls of mortals." All the brothers and sisters in the world should be destroyed together, but they are afraid that they will not be quick. Hong Xiuquan also said, "If you drown in various evil gods, you will become a demon pawn." The so-called Yan Luo Demon refers to the Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, and the so-called "Demon Pawn of Yan Luo Demon" refers to the corrupt officials at all levels of the Qing Dynasty, and Hong Xiuquan calls on those who worship God to rise up and "destroy it together." In another place, the "Original Dao Jue Shixun" also publicly denounced the emperor of the Qing Dynasty by name. It says, "The Emperor God is the Emperor." Though the Lord of the world is called King, it is enough. How can you not allow a single usurpation to be in the middle of it? ...... Jesus is not yet allowed to be called emperor, who is he, who dares to be called emperor? Only to see its arrogance and self-esteem, self-inflicted forever hell disaster also. ”

On August 27, Hong Xiuquan arrived in the Bauhinia Mountains. He met feng yunshan. At this time, the Guangxi region, especially in the Area of Zijing Mountain, was plagued by frequent disasters, the suffering of the masses of the people was deepening, and the class struggle had entered a period of climax. Hong Xiuquan and Feng Yunshan, with the Zijing Mountains as their main bases, vigorously propagated the worship of God, and extended the scope of activities to the surrounding areas of Guixian, Pingnan, Tengxian, Luchuan, Bobai, And Guangdong Xinyi and Huazhou. Soon five large bases were formed. They are: the Zijingshan area headed by Feng Yunshan, Yang Xiuqing, Xiao Chaogui, and Wei Changhui, centered on Jintian Village in Guiping County; the Longshan area headed by Shi Dakai and Qin Rigang, centered on The Village of Shigu in Guixian County; and the Penghuashan area headed by Hu Yixuan and centered on Huazhou in Pingnan County (including the Dali area of Teng County);

The Luchuan and Bobai areas, headed by Lai Jiu and Huang Wenjin, centered on Luying and The Dry Pass, and the Xinyi region headed by Ling Eighteen, centered on Xinyi Daliao in Guangdong. It has developed about 30,000 believers and cultivated a number of backbones such as Yang Xiuqing and Xiao Chaogui. Hong Xiuquan, Feng Yunshan, and others integrated the scattered peasants into a powerful political force with unified thinking and organization. These groups that gathered to worship God were known as "God Worship Societies" and soon became famous.

As the ranks grew, the God Worship Society, under the leadership of Hong Xiuquan and Feng Yunshan, launched a struggle to destroy the mud bodhisattva idols. In 1847, Hong and Feng led the believers to first destroy the Ganwang Temple in The Ancient Che Village of Xiangzhou, and inscribed a poem on the wall:

The ganwang temple is full of incense, and the ganwang is considered by the locals to be a fierce shinto that is very spiritual. Hong and Feng took the lead in smashing the statue of King Gan, but they were safe and sound, and they were shocked for a while. The Worship of God also destroyed the Three Holy Palaces (Lei Temple) in Mengchong, and destroyed the altars (Land Temples) in the area of Tian Xin Shui and Hua Lei Shui. The destruction of idols has aroused the courage and fighting spirit of believers who worship God, so that the majority of believers "only know that there is a heavenly father and brother, and are not afraid of demons."

Worship of God would continue to destroy the idols, causing panic among the landlords and gentry. They used regimental training to collude with the government to persecute the Worship of God. At the end of 1847, Zijingshan Xiucai and Wang Zuoxin captured Feng Yunshan and prepared to send him to the government for punishment. After hearing the news, the Worship God Society reacted in time and snatched back Feng Yunshan. However, Wang Zuoxin was not reconciled, and he repeatedly complained, and finally Feng Yunshan was thrown into Guiping County Prison. Feng Yunshan Zhidou Official Palace. He cited the Confucian classics on the worship of God and the Qing Dynasty's edict on the relaxation of the prohibition on Christianity, stating that "teaching people to worship heaven and worship God" is a legitimate action.

The government could not find any evidence of Feng Yunshan's anti-Qing dynasty. The brothers of the Zijing Mountain Cult of God gathered a sum of money to bribe the official government, and the official government ordered the messenger to escort him to the custody of his original place on the grounds that Feng Yunshan was "wandering without a state of origin". On the way back home, Feng Yunshan preached the principle of worshiping God to the two messengers. The two messengers were touched and accompanied Feng Yunshan to secretly sneak back to the Bauhinia Mountains. When Feng Yunshan was imprisoned, Hong Xiuquan returned to Hua County, intending to go to Guangzhou to pass Luo Xiaoquan and persuade the governor of Liangguang to rescue Feng Yunshan. Feng Yunshan was anxious to meet With Hong Xiuquan, so he immediately headed east. In October 1848, Hong and Feng met in Huaxian to discuss the uprising plan, and based on the dream of Hong Xiuquan's serious illness in 1837, they fabricated a political myth "Taiping Tianri", declaring: Hong Xiuquan is the son of God, and God has ordered him to be the true son of man and dominate everything. Although Feng Yunshan was released from prison after struggle, the persecution of the believers who worshiped God by the landlords and gentry continued unabated. From the bases of Pingnan, Guixian, Guiping, xinyi, and so on, the leaders of the Worship of God Society were arrested and imprisoned. Ling Eighteen, Shi Dakai, Hu Yixuan and other leaders took the lead in leading the Worship of God sect to rebel against the siege of the landlord Tuanlian. Just as Li Xiucheng said: "God worshippers and God worshippers are in a gang, and the regimental training and regimental training are a group, each fighting for their own arrogance, each striving for self-improvement, and thus forcing them to rise." "By June or July 1849, the class struggle situation in Guangxi was already very tense, and more people joined the Worship of God Society." Men and women, young and old, joined the brigade with their dependents and property, and when the situation was different, it was inevitable that there would be conflicts with the officials."
