TSMC's top ten customers revealed: Apple accounts for a quarter of total revenue

Webmaster's House (ChinaZ.com) December 16 News: A new report exposes TSMC's top ten revenue contributors. The chart shows that Apple is TSMC's main source of revenue, accounting for more than 25% of revenue, and no other company can match it.

The data, from Bloomberg and Digitimes, shows that after Apple, MediaTek, AMD, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Nvidia, Sony, Marvell, STM and ADI are the top 10 customers. However, Apple remains the largest contributor, with MediaTek in second place with a 5.8 percent share.

Surprisingly, Intel did not make it into the top 10 of chipmakers, ranking 11th with only 0.84% share. However, that could soon change, as Intel's new CEO, Pat Gelsinger, recently visited Taiwan to meet with key supply chain partners, including TSMC.

Intel is looking to secure its supply chain, and a partnership with TSMC is critical to its success. That's largely because rivals AMD and Nvidia have been using TSMC's services for better cost and performance, while Intel is currently lagging behind in this regard.

It is reported that this cooperation will last at least until the 2nm era after 2025. For TSMC, Intel has the opportunity to become one of the top three customers after 2023, becoming one of the main sources of profit.
