Former BTOB member Cheng Yi-hoon was released on appeal for a drug abuse case and was released in court

Chung Yi-hoon, a former member of the South Korean boy band BTOB, was released in court after his sentence was commuted in today's appeal trial.

Zheng Yixun was sentenced to two years in prison in June this year for smoking marijuana 161 times between July 2016 and November 2019, and after the first-instance judgment was issued, Zheng Yixun appealed, claiming that the prosecution accused him of buying marijuana, the number of times he smoked marijuana did not match the actual situation, and also claimed that the first-instance judgment was too heavy.

In today's appeal, the judge overturned the first-instance judgment, sentenced Zheng Yixun or a two-year suspended sentence of three years to execution, and announced the release of Zheng Yixun in court.
