The drug abuse case will be held for the second time at the Seoul Central District Court today.
Zheng Yixun was accused by prosecutors of smoking marijuana 161 times between July 2016 and November 2019, with a total drug volume of 820 grams and a total drug cost of 130 million won. At the first trial on April 22, Mr. Cheng confessed to the prosecution's allegations and expressed deep regret for what he had done.
Mr. Cheng was transferred to prosecutors in July on suspicion of drug abuse, and his sudden entry into the military two months ago was suspected of joining the army to evade legal prosecution, which was denied by btobe's brokerage company, and Mr. Cheng also quit the btobe group after the drug abuse incident.
