For a long time, the phenomenon of wrongful transportation, leakage, loss and damage of checked baggage has always been a blockage and pain point for passengers. As of November, 25 airports had established data exchange and docking with the baggage public information platform, and the whole process of tracking about 1.4 million pieces of luggage on 59,000 flights had been realized. In addition, a series of innovative applications for improving the informatization of checked baggage have emerged in the industry, and Units such as Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and Daxing International Airport have applied baggage tracking technology to provide passengers with "baggage to door" services; passengers can grasp the baggage trajectory in real time through mobile phones, self-service inquiry machines and other channels.

Liang Nan said that the next step of the Civil Aviation Administration will continue to expand the coverage of baggage tracking services, and on the basis of completing the comprehensive docking of hub airports and public information platforms, start the construction of the airport end of the whole process of baggage tracking services in small and medium-sized airports, and further improve the passenger air travel experience with more comprehensive baggage tracking services.
