On December 15, the sixth day of Niu Jianjun's disappearance in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, a 23-year-old girl from Hefei, Anhui Province, the owners around Jinghongyuan Community were still discussing the girl's disappearance, praying that she would return home safely.
At 10:28 p.m. on December 9, Niu Jianjun disappeared after his last appearance at the north gate of Wuxi Jinghongyuan Community. On December 14, the family of Niu Jianjun, who had been searching for results for a long time, attracted attention through the search for people through social platforms.

Family members said Niu Jianjun worked at the Sheraton Wuxi R&F Hotel, and at about 10 p.m. on December 9, on the way from the dormitory to the hotel, he entered the Jinghongyuan community and disappeared after going out from the north gate of the community. Before the incident, the girl did not behave abnormally.
Surveillance footage shows that at 10:28 p.m. on December 9, Niu Jianjun came to the pedestrian exit at the north gate of the community after asking the owner about the exit in the Jinghongyuan community, and then walked out of the community. From entering JinghongYuan to going out from the North Gate, the whole journey takes only about 4 minutes.

On December 15, the upstream news reporter saw at the north gate of the Jinghongyuan community that the width of the entrance and exit gate was about half a meter, and it was necessary to press the door key to open it, and face recognition was required to enter again.
After going out from the north gate, there is a landscape road along the Liangxi River, the height of the fence along the river is about 30 centimeters, and nearby residents say that the deepest part of the river is 6 meters. Jinghongyuan Community Property said that on the day of the incident, Niu Jianjun had mentioned to the owner that she dropped the documents under the bridge when she passed the Lixi Road Bridge on the way to work. She wanted to walk from the back door of the neighborhood to the bridge and pick up the papers.
The upstream reporter noted that the Lixi Road Bridge is located about 50 meters to the left of the north gate of the community. Niu Jianjun described the location where the file fell, next to the bridge hole. There is no surveillance, only a street lamp. In addition, there is no passage under the bridge to get on the bridge, and the nearest road back to Lixi Road Bridge is the original road back from the Jinghongyuan Community.

Hotel staff said that Niu Jianjun worked in the hotel for about 3 months, and on the same day he left from the dormitory to work at the hotel. On December 14, the Binhu Branch of the Wuxi Municipal Public Security Bureau released a message saying that the missing person has not yet been found, and the police are making every effort to find it.
