After years of waiting, Ubisoft officially announced today (December 16) that it will resume the company's infiltration spy action game "Cell Splinter", although it is not a new work, but this time "Cell Splinter Remake" will use a new era of graphics and gameplay.

According to Ubisoft's official introduction, Splinter Cell Remake was developed by Ubisoft's Toronto office using its own Snowdrop engine, which is currently being used to produce Avatar: Pandora's Border, Mario + Crazy Rabbit Star Shine Wish.

When asked why they chose to remake the original Splice, matt West, the game's producer, replied that the original Splinter had a lot of surprising and revolutionary content when it was born 19 years ago, and now that gamers have better tastes, they decided to launch a remake instead of a refurbished version. At the same time, the producer also said that the game is currently in the early stages of development, and they plan to use new technologies to enhance the game's graphics expression and add game mechanics and designs that match modern players, but the game is still linear as the original, rather than open world.

At the same time as the announcement of the "Cell Splinter Remake", Ubisoft also began to recruit developers for this work.
