China released the national urban survey unemployment rate of 5.0% in November, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month

China's network on December 15 (reporter Peng Yao) the State Council New Office held a press conference on the 15th, the National Bureau of Statistics spokesman and director of the Department of Comprehensive Statistics of the National Economy Fu Linghui introduced that from January to November, 12.07 million new jobs were created in cities and towns across the country, exceeding the expected target for the whole year.

In November, the national urban survey unemployment rate was 5.0%, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month and down 0.2 percentage points from the same period last year. The unemployment rate of the local household registration census is 5.1%, and the unemployment rate of the foreign household registration population survey is 4.8%. The survey unemployment rate for 16-24 years old was 14.3%, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, and the survey unemployment rate for 25-59 years old was 4.3%, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. The surveyed unemployment rate in 31 large cities and towns was 5.1 percent, unchanged from the previous month. The average weekly working hours of employed persons in enterprises nationwide is 47.8 hours.
