In the women's 10 km (traditional technique) race of cross-country skiing, the ranking is based on the total time it takes to cross the finish line. Traditional techniques include alternating gliding, double-pole push-and-hold gliding, figure-of-eight tread without the skid stage, downhill, and cornering techniques. Unlike free technology, traditional techniques do not allow snow pedaling with both feet or one foot, and restrict the use of technical movements by athletes.

Cross-country skiing started late in China. In the women's double pursuit event of cross-country skiing at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, only two Chinese athletes competed. At the Beijing Winter Olympics, the number of participants increased to 4.

In the final result, Chi Chunxue ranked 39th, an improvement of 18 places from the best result of the Chinese team four years ago, and has made great progress.

In this game, Dinigal Yilamujiang, who lit the main torch at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, is undoubtedly the focus of attention of Chinese audiences. Diniger is 20 years old and is from Altay, Xinjiang. Her father, a former cross-country skier, finished third in a national cross-country skiing competition in 1993. Dinigl was trained to ski under the guidance of his father from an early age, which is a realistic version of "Ski, Dad." ”

In 2012, at the age of 10, Dinigel represented the Altay team at the 12th National Winter Games. In 2017, Dinigl, who has participated in two Winter Games, was selected to join the cross-country skiing national training team.

Later, at the Bird's Nest station of the 2019 FIS Cross-Country Skiing Points Race, The then 18-year-old Dinigl finished second in the women's group with a time of 4 minutes 26.82 seconds, creating the best result in the history of the Chinese team in the project.

At the end of 2021, Diniger won the international snow federation cross-country skiing FIS points series three consecutive points races in Bashang, Hot Spring and Shanghai.

The Winter Olympics was Dinigl's first Winter Olympic journey, and despite her lack of experience, she successfully completed the competition. Regardless of the results, Dinigel has shown the hard work and perseverance of the post-00s athletes. As a young general, she hopes that she can continuously improve her achievements and strive to stand on the podium and win glory for the country.
