In the battle against the Vietnamese monkeys, As the commander of the 8th Company, Li Zuocheng rushed to the front, and on the battlefield he was less than 2 meters away from the enemy's short soldiers, and he was well trained to fire before the enemy by instinct and directly killed the enemy.
When he led the charge, the enemy relied on the strong bunker to do stubborn resistance, although our army was equipped with flamethrowers but it was difficult to work, in a hurry, Li Zuocheng commanded the fighters to take a roundabout tactic to run to the favorable terrain and throw all the grenades into the enemy bunker, so that the enemy was all killed in the bunker.
As the battle drew to a close, the remnants of the enemy all hid in a bunker, still stubbornly resisting under the cover of the bunker, and at this time the superiors directly issued a death order to destroy the enemy bunker at all costs to buy time for the large army.
Subsequently, the soldiers began to bombard this bunker with recoilless artillery, but 5 consecutive shots still had no effect, Li Zuo saw that this was not okay, directly rushed up, under the cover of comrades in arms, constantly approached the enemy's bunker, and directly threw out several smoke bombs within the effective throwing range.
Under the cover of thick smoke, the fighters behind them rushed into the enemy's bunker and directly killed all the enemies with machine guns. Li Zuocheng's heroic performance on the battlefield was commended after the war, and in the subsequent military career, Li Zuocheng was successively appointed as the commander of the regiment, the commander of the army, and the chief of staff of the commander.
By 1997, he had been awarded the rank of major general, promoted to lieutenant general in 2012 and general six years later. It can be said that General Li Zuocheng is a "general star" who rose from the counterattack against Vietnam.
