After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japan, he sent his son Ding Zhaozhong to the United States to study, and he also went to accompany his son, she was running around all her life, and the relationship with her son was too little, in 1960, Ding Zhaozhong died of illness after obtaining a master's degree in the United States, at the age of 52.
Before she died, she left a will to her son: "love science, love the motherland, double love and double glory", Ding Zhaozhong is also moving towards his mother's expectations, in 1976, Ding Zhaozhong won the Nobel Prize, at the award ceremony, he gave a speech with a rural accent, in the last sentence, she thanked her parents, more grateful to her motherland.
