The school Li Haiyan mentioned is a special children's home of the Social Development Center of Anyuan District, Pingxiang City, which is why the national "Living Water Plan" is based on the institution, and with selfless care, it supports the backbone of autistic children.

All around us, there is such a special group of children, who are called "children of the stars" – twinkling alone like stars in another world. They have clear eyes, but they are blind to people, their hearing is sensitive, but they are deaf to the calls of their parents, and their voices are normal, but they do not communicate with others.

In Anyuan District, there are about 243 elderly children with autism, although the number is small, but this group also needs the understanding and care of the whole society.

Speaking of the Anyuan District Social Development Center Special Children's Home, the initiator of the project Rao Junhua deeply felt, in 2016, she came into contact with several elderly autistic children as a volunteer, in the process of helping, she found that this group is many, autistic children not only need help in all aspects, their families are also facing greater pressure than normal children and other families with disabilities, the physical and mental health of their parents is also affected, the quality of life is seriously reduced, and they are in great need of social care. In order to help these special families, she had the idea of setting up a "special children's home".

March 2021. Anyuan District established the first elderly autistic children's care institution in Pingxiang City, the Special Children's Home. At first, this "special children's home" was only 60 square meters and could only accept 10 children, but there were dozens of people who came to sign up, which made Rao Junhua very distressed. Later, Rao Junhua found through visits that there were 243 elderly children with autism in Anyuan District alone.

After learning about the situation, the Pingxiang Civil Affairs Bureau and the Municipal Aid Station immediately gave site and policy support, and helped contact the "Living Water Plan" of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, and launched the "Living Water Plan" in Anyuan District in September this year, aiming to help older children over the age of 7 get a safe and appropriate nursing environment.

At present, through the implementation of the "Living Water Plan" elderly autistic children's care project, Anyuan District has let more people in the society pay attention to the group of elderly autistic children, mobilized collective strength, and raised 3.42 million yuan to contribute to the construction of the "First Good District".

Yao Min, project leader of the "Special Children's Home", introduced that the Special Children's Home adopts three ways: custody, one-on-one door-to-door service, and family support to help families of children with autism. There are currently 50 older children with autism in custody.

"Special Children's Home" does not charge any fees, and there are 15 loving and patient full-time teachers, through the mode of personal training and group lessons to cultivate children's cognitive ability, language ability, life self-care ability, concentration, etc., hand in hand to teach them to write, draw, do handicrafts, accompany them to sing, dance, sports, make them rich food, let them learn more knowledge, have a healthy physique, and when they become adults, they can integrate into society like normal people.

It is understood that through the implementation of the care project, the faces of parents also showed a long-lost smile, some parents directly went out to travel and relax for half a month, young parents found a job within their reach to increase the income of the family and at the same time enriched their lives. As an actual matter of people's livelihood in Anyuan, the "Living Water Plan" project is full of people's livelihood temperature and highlights the people's livelihood feelings.
