Dai Kasa, a native of Jiangshan, Zhejiang Province, was the head of the Kuomintang military command secret agent and Chiang Kai-shek's confidant, known as "Boss Dai".
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Dai Kasa led the military command to participate in the War of Resistance, and in order to ensure that his subordinates could successfully complete their tasks, he also set a rule that "wartime agents are not allowed to marry."
However, this article does not apply to Dai Kasa, as the head of the military, there is certainly no shortage of women around him, and he has an affair with many female subordinates. In addition, he married Mao Xiucong as early as 1915 and gave birth to a son, Dai Zangyi, which was his only offspring.
Dai Zangyi studied at Datong University in Shanghai. In order to ensure his personal safety, Dai Kasa let him work as a primary school principal in his hometown for a period of time. In 1940, Dai Kasa arranged for the 25-year-old Dai Zangyi to enter the military command. In 1944, Dai Zangyi was elected as a senator of Jiangshan County, and also served as the chairman of the county bank, the commissioner of the Major General of the Military Command Bureau, the major general of the Zhongyi National Salvation Army, and the principal of Jiangshan Yunong Middle School. Dai Zangyi's career path is so smooth, naturally it has a lot to do with Dai Kasa.
On March 17, 1946, Dai Kasa flew from Qingdao to Nanjing, but the plane crashed in the middle of the way, and Dai Kasa was killed on the spot. After Dai Kasa's death, the military command was eventually taken over by Mao Renfeng, and Dai Zangyi was quickly expelled from the military command after losing his patron and transferred to the beijing-Shanghai-Hangzhou railway security department.
On the eve of liberation, Dai Zangyi took his family and finances to evacuate to Taiwan, but was robbed by bandits on the way, returned to his hometown of Jiangshan, and was arrested in September 1949. In 1951, Dai was publicly executed by firing squad.
Dai Zangyi and his wife Zheng Xiying had three sons and two daughters, namely: Dai Yikuan, Dai Yihong, Dai Yichang, Dai Meiman, and Dai Lulu, who died prematurely. After Dai Zangyi was shot, Zheng Xiying entrusted his daughter Dai Meiman to the family's cook Tang Haozhu to raise, and he took his three sons to Shanghai.
In 1953, Zheng Xiying and Kuomintang agent Huang Duo took over and prepared to withdraw to Taiwan. Because the second son, Dai Yihong, was replaced by Huang Duo, he stayed in Shanghai and failed to make the trip. Zheng Xiying and Dai Yikuan and Dai Yichang went to Taiwan.
Dai Yikuan and Dai Yichang were able to learn and succeed because of their mother's care. Dai Yihong, who remained in the mainland, was later taken in by an orphanage and grew up to work as a worker. Dai Meiman, who was raised by Tang Haozhu, changed his name to Liao Meiqiu, and also became a family and had children, and had a good life.
