In the Military Command Bureau, because of Jiang Yiying's hard work, skillful business, and being a fellow countryman of Boss Dai, he was soon promoted to radio chief telegraph operator and concurrently, and the rank of colonel was also promoted.
Jiang Yiying's real highlight was in 1941, the year she cracked a top-secret intelligence, which not only impressed the United States with China's intelligence capabilities, but also won her honor.
In early December 1941, Jiang Yiying successfully deciphered a top-secret intelligence that shocked the world by listening to the Japanese radio: the Japanese army would attack the U.S. naval base in Pearl Harbor on December 7!
After the telegram was deciphered, Jiang Yiying immediately handed over the information to Dai Kasa for processing, and Dai Kasa forwarded it to Chiang Kai-shek, who also attached great importance to this top-secret intelligence, and personally issued instructions: Quickly notify the US government!
After receiving the instructions, Dai Kasa immediately sent a telegram to Xiao Bo, director of the U.S. station of the Military Command Bureau, to inform Guo Rongquan, military attaché of the Chinese Embassy in the United States, of the contents of the intelligence, and Guo Rongquan was transferred to the Naval Command.
However, the United States, which has always been arrogant and accustomed, did not believe that China had such a capability, and after receiving this top-secret information, it directly threw it aside and ignored it.
As a result, as we all know, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, destroying all 120 U.S. ships and 188 aircraft, killing more than 3,000 naval officers and men, and dealing a devastating blow to the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

In 1949, with the complete defeat of the Kuomintang in the War of Liberation, Jiang Yiying fled from Shanghai to Taiwan, where he continued to engage in intelligence work.
In 1957, Jiang Yiying officially broke away from the intelligence system and served as the principal of Yusheng National Primary School, which was established in Taipei in honor of Dai Kasa, until his retirement, and died peacefully in 2006 at the age of 98.
