Among these personnel was a female major general named Jiang Yiying, whose promotion was kept secret for a long time, and she became famous for deciphering the secret report of the Japanese raid on Pearl Harbor.
Jiang Yiying, formerly known as Jiang Hegen, was born in 1908 to a family of carpenters in Jiangshan, Zhejiang. Jiang Yiying has been very strong since she was a child, and her parents have always supported her to study, she finished primary school, transferred to Zhejiang Middle School in junior high school, and in 1932, Jiang Yiying was admitted to the Zhejiang Police Academy after graduation. Applying for the Zhejiang Police Academy is Jiang Yiying's own idea, although she is a daughter but has great ambitions, there were many students applying for the Zhejiang Police Academy at that time, and the first phase of the Jiake Special Training Class only recruited 13 graduates. The examiner in charge of the assessment at that time was Dai Kasa, who not only had to take a written test, but also personally interviewed these students. At that time, when Dai Kasa saw Jiang Yiying's resume, because she was very happy to be a Jiangshan person, Dai Kasa talked to her alone and found that she not only had the delicacy and sensitivity of a woman, but also the courage and tenacity of a man, and immediately admitted her. After graduation, Jiang Yiying directly entered the military command, engaged in radio transmission and deciphering. Jiang Yiying is very talented, and the teacher is Wei Daming, the first person of the military command telegraph.
Soon after the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Dai Kasa asked Chiang Kai-shek to set up a special technology research office of the Military Commission, where most of the personnel were students of the training class for translators and telegraphers, with a total of 30 people. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the personnel of the Translation and Telecommunications Department specialized in cracking Japanese pseudo-codes, and Wei Daming was the master of the lieutenant general of the department. Jiang Yiying became a red person around Dai Kasa because of his origin in Jiangshan and because of his excellent work skills. Jiang Yiying successively served as the chief of the translation and telecommunications section, the head of the confidential group, and the director of the intelligence department. She hasn't left the job since she joined the translation and telegraph group.
On December 7, 1941, the Japanese army attacked Pearl Harbor in the United States, and their secret information had actually been deciphered by Jiang Yiying a few days in advance. After Jiang Yiying received this information, he very solemnly handed it over to Dai Kasa, who seemed very excited and immediately called Chiang Kai-shek, who also received the most precious treasure and immediately issued an order: "Quickly notify the US government!" ”
Dai Kasa immediately contacted Xiao Bo, the head of the U.S. station at the Military Command Bureau, and asked him to quickly contact the Chinese Embassy in the United States and order the officials of the U.S. Embassy to tell the Pentagon the news. At that time, the United States was actually very contemptuous of China's intelligence work, and Dai Kasa also hoped to be able to use this secret telegram to grow a long face in front of the US military and get closer to them by the way. The U.S. side did not care about this intelligence at all, even a sarcastic attitude. A naval officer also said, "How could there be such a thing?" This is just a low-level trick by China to deliberately provoke the United States and Japan. Ignoring Dai Kasa's intelligence is a great regret and disaster for the United States, but it is a double gain for old Chiang Kai-shek. After this incident, Dai Kasa praised Jiang Yiying and promoted her to major general in the military command. Jiang Yiying has been proud of this incident all her life, and she believes that she has opened the door to Sino-US intelligence cooperation. After this incident, Jiang Yiying also gained more trust from Dai Kasa, and she also reported to Dai Kasa everything and became a red person in front of Dai Kasa.
A person who has entered the military command cannot leave the military command unless his life is over. Such a talent as Jiang Yiying, marriage can naturally only be found in the military command, and later she married Ye Wenzhao, a Jiangshan person, who was the person in charge of the fourth radio station of the military command. In fact, when they first began to get married, the relationship between the two was quite good, but since Jiang Yiying was promoted to major general, his dissatisfaction with her husband was gradually revealed, and the relationship between the two began to be estranged. Jiang Yiying became an official, and dai Kasa supported behind his back, the natural shelf was also larger, and he was still putting up an official shelf at home, often quarreling with her husband for some trivial matters. Ye Wenzhao couldn't stand it and divorced her.
After liberation, Jiang Yiying went to Taiwan, she still served in the Palace of the Secret Bureau, until after Mao Renfeng's death, she left the Secret Bureau and went to Taipei to become a primary school principal, this school was built to commemorate Dai Kasa, Jiang Yiying stayed here for the rest of her life, this seemingly cruel and ruthless boss, but it was a noble person who really discovered her, cultivated her, and let her achieve her own success. In 2006, Jiang Yiying died in Taipei at the age of 98.
