The Teacher Who Won't Be "Fierce"
"As a teacher, you must be strict, otherwise, you can't control the students!"
On the eve of graduating from college and about to become a rural teacher, the seniors warned Mr. Zhuo, "We must be in school and look like a teacher" in order to stand firm. She was a little confused, but did not refute it. In the eyes of teachers and classmates, her young age, gentle and careful personality, and cute baby face appearance, is still a childish child, it is difficult to imagine her becoming a teacher, regulating a group of children.
In the first week of her teaching position, she tried to follow the instructions, deliberately raising her face and making a stern appearance. But she soon realized that it wouldn't work. The lower grade students, the personality is far less naughty than she expected, most of them are introverted and less verbal, seeing that Teacher Zhuo is so serious, they even dare not take the initiative to raise their hands to ask questions in class, but will only open their eyes and wait for her to issue the next instructions.
More importantly, such a classroom atmosphere is far from her imagination of art. "I thought it was a very fun thing since I studied art, but as a result, the students were afraid and ignorant in class, and they didn't even dare to draw, and I was sad in my heart, so I simply didn't 'pretend'."

While worrying that the classroom that is too tight is not welcome, and on the other hand, afraid that the class order is like a wild horse, Teacher Zhuo looks at the children's simple and warm eyes and chooses the three chapters of the law: "You like gentle teachers, and teachers also like obedient students." After one semester, Mr. Zhuo's class was quite popular among the students, not only the lower grade children fell in love, but the senior children would also spoil her, hoping to have the opportunity to attend a few more lessons. Think like a child
Recalling her feelings when she first taught art class, Ms. Zhuo was immediately a little embarrassed, she said that she was "dizzy", like a transfer student - as early as 2019, the "Bazaar After Class Hour" aesthetic education public welfare project has been stationed on campus, bringing children a unique double-teacher art course.
Project Introduction
The "Bazaar One Hour After School" aesthetic education public welfare project aims to alleviate and improve the problem of uneven distribution of educational resources through the development of aesthetic education courses, the cultivation of rural aesthetic education teachers, and the provision of aesthetic education teaching equipment, so that more rural children can receive the influence of aesthetic education and help the development of rural aesthetic education.
As of October 2021, the project has transformed and put into use the Bazaar aesthetic education classrooms in 403 rural schools in 16 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, supplementing and enriching the children's aesthetic education life by carrying out graded aesthetic education courses such as art, reading and chorus in the aesthetic education classrooms.
In her impression, the art class should be taught by the teacher and drawn by the students. Since the children in rural schools have a weak foundation in art, the teacher will prepare semi-finished fan paintings for students in advance, just briefly explain and guide students to color. In the Bazaar art class, the live broadcast teacher will take everyone to draw from scratch together, leaving a lot of free space.

It is these two sentences of praise that let Xiao Hao open up the trick, and the more Teacher Zhuo praised, the more seriously he painted. After class, Mr. Zhuo will also quietly send messages to parents, hoping that during the time at home, parents can also give their children more encouragement. Unexpectedly, this made XiaoHao's parents even more proud - they have always thought that children love to play, love to draw, the mind is not used in learning, it is difficult to have any development in the future, but seeing that Xiaohao's works are more and more like, the school teachers have repeatedly given affirmation, and their attitude towards painting has also changed from prejudice to support, and they have added a whole set of brush tools for Xiaohao during the holiday.

Also "captured" by the fine arts are the older children in the fifth and sixth grades. Compared with the lower grades, their paintings are not particularly brilliant, and their basic skills are even weaker, but every time they study, they can see their efforts and seriousness. Whenever they encounter a painting theme that is difficult to grasp in the textbook, they do not take the initiative to express difficulties, but silently, using the limited spare time, to finish the painting little by little. Many times before, students came to us to correct homework, saw all chased and asked, 'Teacher Zhuo, what is this, can transparent plastic paper be used to play', I simply took it away, gave them art materials, over plastic paper as a baseplate, you can collage some handmade paper samples.
