On December 14, the Shaanxi Provincial Archaeological Research Institute and other units released the latest archaeological results of the Western Han Emperor Mausoleum Project, and the Great Tomb of Jiangcun in Bailuyuan, Xi'an is the tomb of Liu Heng, the Emperor Xiaowen of the Western Han Dynasty.
Not far from the Jiangcun Tomb, during the excavation of the southern mausoleum of Empress Bo, the mother of Emperor Wen of Han, archaeologists excavated 3 outer pits on the west side of the sealed soil, unearthed hundreds of gold and silver jewelry with exotic decorative styles, and Buried a large number of rare gold artifacts with grassland style.
Through the analysis of the craftsmanship and appearance characteristics of the gold ware, archaeologists speculate that it may be related to the origin of the "Daiwang" in the early years of Emperor Wen of Han. The gold vessel comes from a daiguo bordering the steppe, which can be speculated to prove that exchanges between the Central Plains and the steppe had been established before the opening of the Silk Road.
