If children with snoring are not treated correctly in a timely manner, craniomaxillofacial development deformities and occlusal dysfunction can be caused by long-term open mouth breathing. Due to long-term hypoxia and hypercapnia caused by snoring, factors affect the secretion of growth hormone, or the responsiveness of tissues and organs to growth hormone is reduced, and children with snoring have developmental abnormalities such as short body size and low weight. Long-term lack of oxygen and daytime sleepiness can also affect the child's intellectual development.
