Liu Zhiyuan left five vassals, which brought disaster to the empire

Before Liu Zhiyuan's death (early 948), the posthumous chancellors Yang Ying, Su Fengji, Shi Hongzhao, Guo Wei, Wang Zhang, and others assisted the young lords, among whom Yang Ying, Su Fengji, and Shi Hongzhao were in charge of political affairs, Guo Wei was responsible for conquest and rebellion, and Wang Zhang was in charge of finances. Guo Wei's army marched south, breaking through the imperial army one after another, and forcing Liu Chengyou to flee with a small number of cronies. When fleeing to Zhao Village, Liu Chengyou was killed by Guo Yunming. Liu Chengyou was only 21 years old when he died.
