The old saying that "no filial piety has three, no queen is greater", and opening branches and leaves to pass on incense for the family door has been the top priority of the ancients for thousands of years. However, this point is an unspeakable pain for Dorgon in the Qing Dynasty. Dorgon's father Nurha had 16 sons and 8 daughters under his knees, and his brother Emperor Taiji also had 11 sons and 15 daughters, which can be described as a prosperous heir, compared to Dolgun is very embarrassed.
Although Dorgon was brave and skillful, he chased the battlefield at the age of 17, and was the king of the great Qing Dynasty, but in terms of his relationship with his children, he was extremely weak. The Qing History Manuscript records that in 1624, under the arrangement of Nurhaci and Abhay, the 13-year-old Dolgun welcomed the Borzigit clan as a concubine, and the two had no children for decades. Subsequently, Dorgon successively accepted 9 side concubines, also quietly, until 1638 AD, Dorgon finally ushered in the daughter of Shu, that is, Dongguo Gege.
For more than ten years, until Dorgon died of illness in 1650 AD, there was only one seedling under his knee, Dongguo Gege. At that time, Shunzhi still respected his uncle, and the princes of the various clans could not bear the severance of Dolgun's lineage, so they passed Dolbo, the fifth son of Duoduo, the Prince of Yu, to dolgun's name, so that Dolgun, who was childless in his life, had a vein of incense, and Dolbo became his only son. After Dorgon's death, Dolbo inherited the title of Prince of Rui and was rewarded with a great reward.
Dolbo was also extremely well-behaved, burning incense and worshipping before his adoptive father's spiritual throne, and entering the ceremony of his children's subjects, and the old department of Dolgun was also attached to him. However, less than 3 months apart, evil fell from the sky. Shunzhi long hated Dorgon for being restrained, and also hated his framing of his brother Hauge, so he threw out 14 major sins, denouncing Dorgon for disloyalty, filial piety and injustice, and in a flash, Dorgon became the target of everyone, and Dolbo was imprisoned and panicked.
Of course, there was a debt and a master, at that time, the Qing court was unstable, Shunzhi still needed to co-opt the princes of the clan, and although Dolbo passed on to Dolgun, it was not born of Dolgun at all. As a sign of mercy, Shunzhi sent Dolbo back to his family and removed the name of Dolgun's heir. This trick made it impossible for Dorgon to receive incense after his death, and there was no one to sacrifice in front of the grave. However, Dolbo was overly frightened, fell ill, and was bedridden at a young age, often waking up crying in his dreams.
Seeing Dolbo like this, Shunzhi could not bear to be embarrassed anymore, and later in the fourteenth year of Shunzhi, he was canonized as "Dorobele". After Kangxi ascended the throne, Dolbo remained in a trance and died prematurely at the age of 30. Dorgon was remembered again by the Qing court, and it was already the Qianlong period that had been separated for a long time. Qianlong was different from his father's generation, and he believed that Dorgon was a loyal king and the first person to enter the Great Qing Pass, so he was very appreciative in his heart.
In the forty-third year of Qianlong, Qianlong officially issued an edict posthumously sealing Dolgun and building a tomb for him. Considering that the descendants of Dolgun were hanging in the air, Qianlong also deliberately recalled the dead Dolbo, so that the descendants of Dolbo would inherit the Prince of Rui and sacrifice Dolgun on behalf of him.
