Kunqu opera is one of the oldest types of classical Chinese opera and is known as the "Master of a Hundred Operas". In 2001, Kunqu opera was listed by UNESCO as one of the first "masterpieces of oral and intangible heritage of mankind", which is exactly 20 years old, and this year coincides with the 100th anniversary of the founding of Suzhou Kunqu Opera Institute. This garden tour is also a commemorative performance organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kunqu's application for heritage. Qian Dongxia, Wang Jiannong, Shi Haitao, winner of the first China Kunqu Opera "Orchid Performance Award", and drummer Shen Yang, as well as 17 entertainers from the Kunqu Opera Theatre in Hunan Province, will continue to present the Kunqu opera dance "Water Sleeve Flying" to the public, Kunqu opera "Peony Pavilion • Garden Dreams", Kunqu Yale Ensemble "Flowers and Flowers" and other programs for the public.
