On December 13, tourist Mr. Zou (pseudonym) told reporters that the incident occurred on the morning of December 11 in a public open-air lawn area in Hangzhou. He went to the park to camp on the afternoon of the 10th, and on the morning of the 11th, he saw a lot of people gathered near a tent, and the ambulance also came, and he inquired and learned that it was a family of three burning charcoal in the tent for heating, resulting in carbon monoxide poisoning. His camp was not too far from the family, and he had seen them in the morning, but he did not expect to be poisoned not long after. After the poisoning, there were medical staff in the camp tent next door, who quickly pulled the people out of the tent and called the emergency, but the man in the tent was not ok at that time.
