When patients with mild, moderate and severe carbon monoxide poisoning are received, the staff of the Emergency Trauma Center and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center of the First Hospital of Zhejiang University will immediately initiate hyperbaric oxygen therapy and apply glucocorticoids for symptomatic treatment in the early stage.
"Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is an important part of the hospital's integrated rapid comprehensive trauma emergency system and plays an important role in emergency trauma treatment." Director Yang Xiaofeng introduced that on May 25, 2021, the first phase of the hyperbaric oxygen treatment center of the headquarters of the first hospital of Zhejiang University was newly operated, using a large air pressurized oxygen chamber, which can accommodate 20 people for treatment at the same time, and is one of the largest and most advanced hyperbaric oxygen chambers in East China, equipped with hyperbaric oxygen special pneumatic ventilators and hyperbaric oxygen chamber special telemetry monitors.
