Joining the Lakers? The Knicks manager announced the banning of Walker: The coaching staff decided not to give Walker another chance

When Kemba Walker arrived in the offseason, many New York Knicks fans were thrilled. Last season, the Knicks made the playoffs, and they believe Walker will lead the Knicks further.

It's worth noting that the Knicks already lack experienced veteran point guards, and Walker is still a native of New York.

Not only did Walker realize his childhood dream of playing for his hometown team, but he also got a much-needed fresh start after a less successful experience with the Boston Celtics. But after just a few games, what should have been a solid step for the Knicks turned into a sad one.

Previously, Walker was deprecated by the Knicks. Even though the Knicks desperately needed a point guard against the Milwaukee Bucks, head coach Tom Thibodeau didn't get the four-time All-Star on the field. After the game, Thibodeau expressed his opinion on the matter, admitting that he would not give Walker another chance.

"It's basically a decision by the coaching staff, yes."

Oddly enough, even though Emmanuel Quakeley and Alec Burks couldn't play, Thibodeau glued Walker to the bench and brought rookie Quentin Grimes on the bench, scoring a career-high 27 points and playing 40 minutes. When asked to explain, Thibodeau was even more determined about his decision.

"It's just based on the first two games and the good performance in these two games, we also have to think about where the future is going, we think it will give us the best chance to win the game."

However, the Knicks have lost 8 of their last 10 games. At present, Walker's trade by the Knicks has become a foregone conclusion, and championship teams such as the Nets and Lakers are in urgent need of point guards, and he still has many opportunities.
