"Tuotuo Memory" won the 27th China Documentary Academic Award
On the evening of December 12, the 27th China Documentary Academic Festival and the 14th Shenzhen Youth Film Festival came to an end in Pengcheng Shenzhen. Jointly produced by Hebei Radio and Television Bureau, Hebei Radio and Television Station, Hebei Zhongshan National Culture Research Association, Propaganda Department of Shijiazhuang Municipal Cpc Committee, Pingshan County CPC Committee and County Government, and Hebei Junzi Film and Television Media Co., Ltd., the five-episode large-scale humanistic history documentary "Hutuo Memory" stood out in the fierce competition and won the "Top Ten" Works Award of the influential series.
2021 is an unusual year. Standing at the intersection of two centenary years, this year's documentary is thick and full of tension. This year's academic appraisal activities set up six categories of "single, column, micro-record, short film, feature film, series", adhering to the consistent purpose of "authority, academic, justice", from more than 500 works of application to stand out the selected masterpieces, both grand pattern, lofty panoramic blockbusters, but also delicate, real, warm and warm short films; both visual artistic butterfly changes in images, but also phoenix nirvana in ideological content.
"Memories of Hutuo" takes the construction of large-scale water conservancy projects on the Haihe River in the era of the construction of New China as the narrative background, takes the construction of the two major reservoirs in Gangnan and Huangbizhuang and the relocation and reconstruction of the homeland as the main content, shows the arduous and extraordinary development process of reservoir construction, relocation, extrication from difficulties and rebirth with a large number of first-hand materials, and praises the selfless dedication and infinite loyalty of the people along the Hutuo River in the form of group portraits, showing the CPC leading the broad masses to change the backward appearance. In the comments of the jury, the jury said that "Hutuo Memory" reviewed the history of the struggle to get rid of poverty in the Hutuo River Basin, vividly showed the great course of the party leading the people to a new life, the image style was solemn, and the content of the work was rich and colorful; "Hutuo Memory" connected to the future picture of rural revitalization.
Together with "Tuotuo Memory", the works that won the "Top Ten" of the series of documentaries were "Birthplace" of Shanghai Radio and Television Documentary Center, "2020 Spring Chronicle" of China Central Radio and Television Corporation, "Commitment" of China Central Radio and Television Corporation and other units, "Absolute Pen" of China Central Radio and Television Corporation, "Wisdom China: Frontier Science" of Shanghai Kuanyu Digital Technology Co., Ltd., "Little Teenager" of Beijing Five Star Legend Culture Media Co., Ltd., "White Mountain Black Water Cast Heroic Soul" of China Education Television, "Books and Brief Reading of China" by China Central Radio and Television Corporation, and "Far Away: Overseas Chinese and Chinese on the Belt and Road" by the Central News Documentary Film Studio. Zhang Junfeng, the film's chief editor and director, was invited to Shenzhen on behalf of the producer and the creative team to attend the grand ceremony.
The series of documentaries is the so-called "blockbuster" with the heaviest weight in the six categories of participating documentaries, and it is the most fiercely contested in the previous academic festivals, and the awards are divided into three levels: "Top Ten", "Ten Excellent" and "Good Works", and the works shortlisted for the "Top Ten" series of documentaries can be called the annual "Top Ten Documentaries" of the Chinese Documentary Academic Festival.
The creation of "Tuotuo Memory" lasted for three years, and it is the third large-scale documentary "Pingshan Trilogy" after "Pingshan Memory" and "Zhongshan Kingdom". These three works were created by Zhang Zhiping, president of the Zhongshan National Culture Research Association in Hebei Province and librarian of the Hebei Museum of Culture and History, and Zhang Junfeng, a senior director of the Chinese documentary industry, and the creative team led by the creative team after nearly 10 years of creation, and were broadcast in 2015, 2018 and 2021 on the record channel of the Highest Documentary Broadcasting Platform in China, which greatly enhanced Pingshan's popularity and reputation in the country. The "Pingshan Trilogy" has been focusing on the in-depth excavation and wonderful presentation of the history and culture of a county for nearly 10 years, and has been praised by documentary scholars as an intriguing cultural phenomenon.
