Recently, SAIC Audi's new pure electric vehicle Audi Q5 e-tron has now arrived in the store. The new car is positioned as the first pure electric vehicle of SAIC Audi, which is the same as the Volkswagen ID. series and comes from the Volkswagen MEB modular electric drive platform. The silver trim on the side of the new car, as an extension of the window trim, makes the proportion of the whole car appear more slender to a certain extent. In terms of body size, the new car has a height of 4876/1860/1675mm and a wheelbase of 2965mm.
The new car features 21-inch metal brushed two-tone five-spoke wheels with Goodyear tires and a specification of 235/45 R21 at the front and 265/40 R21 at the rear. In addition, the Audi Q5 e-tron and the Volkswagen ID. series also use rear drum brakes, which is the only model in the Audi brand to use drum brakes.
The rear styling of the new car maintains the audi brand's usual rounded and full design, and adopts through-the taillights. The silver decorative skid plate of the rear bumper is still marked with the word "e-tron", and there are four "e-tron" logos under the new body, highlighting the identity of pure electric vehicles.
The new car is designed in a staggered center console section and features a 10.25-inch enhanced digital instrument cluster and an 11.6-inch MMI infotainment central touchscreen. The driving-related button area forms a separate island, enriching the layering of the interior and improving the utilization of space.
In terms of seats, the new car adopts Finnappa leather wrapping, and adds a punching process and double stitching design, and the seat back also has the "e-tron" logo. The second row of the 6-seater model features two separate seats with manual adjustment. The second and third rows of seats support independent reclining, and the maximum volume of the trunk can reach 1825L after being reclined.
In the power section, the 50 e-tron Quattro 4WD dual-motor version has a maximum total power of 225 kW and a maximum torque of 460 N·m. In addition, the new car has a 40 e-tron single-motor version with a rear motor with a maximum power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 310 N·m. The battery capacity is 83.4kWh, CLTC range, 560km for 40 e-tron and 520km for 50 e-tron quattro. For the suspension section, the Q5 e-tron features a suspension structure with front McPherson/rear linkage.
