On December 13, a laptop recently appeared in the GeekBench database, which features an Intel Core i7-1260P processor and suspected new Nvidia MX series graphics.
Based on the amp architecture, the graphics card has 2048 CUDA cores, the same as the GeForce RTX 3050 on mobile, more than double the current MX450. The frequency is 1500MHz, which should be a castrated version of the core based on GA107.
It also has 2GB of GDDR6 memory with an unknown memory width. However, considering the positioning of the MX550, it should not be very high.
The graphics card currently has an OpenCL score of 39124, which is about 15% better than the MX450. This is mainly because the power consumption and memory specifications of the series are relatively low, so the extra CUDA core does not bring much improvement.
The i7-1260P paired with it features a 4+8 core, 16-thread design. The base frequency is 2.5GHz, turbo frequency is 4.6GHz, and it has 18MB L3 cache, which is a typical 14-inch thin and light book or 16-inch all-rounder configuration.
These two products should be exhibited during CES 2022, and AMD and Intel should also bring their own unique display products, which are still very interesting overall.
