Apple is hiring for AR/VR Software Development Engineers while hiring for hid teams with an A

According to Apple's official website, Apple is recruiting for AR/VR-related positions, after Sina VR reported that "Apple Recruits AR/VR Framework Engineers will research and develop a new application paradigm", when Apple said that the technology development team was hiring a software engineer to help build and implement network frameworks and APIs for Apple's next-generation interactive computing platform. The engineer will enhance the capabilities and performance of AR/VR systems by developing distributed systems and a wide range of applications, including machine learning, computer vision, and multimedia processing.

When the Sina VR reporter checked Apple's official website today, he once again found that Apple was also recruiting AR/VR software development engineers, interactive test frameworks and prototype engineers.

AR/VR software development engineer

Apple said the Technology Development Group (TDG) is looking for an AR/VR software development engineer to help Apple push the limits of next-generation interactive computing for Apple's platform. The team is using some of Apple's state-of-the-art technologies, including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), machine learning (ML), and computer vision (CV). As a member of the organization, apple will help explore the products of the future that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people.

Recruitment requirements:

Solid C++ knowledge and experience

Have a good understanding and familiarity with 3D mathematics (linear algebra).

Interactive testing framework and prototyping engineer

The Human Interface Device (HID) team is looking for an interactive software engineer to help prototype and develop highly configurable applications for test input. These prototypes and test software will play an important role in developing the new Apple input experience.

More than 2 years of software development experience, including software architecture design, reliability and scalability

Proficient in modern C++, proficient in Python (i.e. scripting, automation)

Experience building application frameworks (modular software development, configurable component design)

Experience developing test strategies (unit/regression/fuzziness) and continuous integration pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).

Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills

Understand and advocate the principles of good software and system design

Ability to communicate and collaborate clearly with multifunctional teams

The position of Interactive Test Framework and Prototype Engineer may seem to have little to do with AR/VR, but in the plus of this position, it is marked as augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) software development experience, using OpenXR, WebXR experience will be easier to hire.
