In fact, strictly speaking, in addition to Zhou Yu, Lü Meng, and Lu Xun in Eastern Wu, Lu Kang (Lu Xun's second son) also enjoyed the treatment of entering the temple and worshipping. However, when Lu Kang became famous, Sima Yan had already established the Western Jin Dynasty, so Lu Kang was recognized by later generations as a famous general in the Western Jin Dynasty. Having said that, Lu Kang was an uncompromising "Optimus Prime" in the late Eastern Wu Dynasty. This famous general who has continued to live for Eastern Wu for twenty years is also a rare talent in the chaos of Eastern Wu. What is even more rare is that Lu Kang and his father Lu Xun were both mainstays of Eastern Wu and were called "Sun Kang".

Lu Kang (陸抗), courtesy name Youjie, whose ancestral home was Wu County, Wu County (present-day Suzhou, Jiangsu), was Lu Xun's second son and grandson of Sun Ce, and his personal biography is found in the biography accompanying the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Lu Xun. When Lu Kang was a teenager, he had the style of his father Lu Xun. According to the Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms, "(Lu Kang) and Zhuge Ke exchanged Tun Chai Sang. When the resistance is coming, they will all finish the siege of the city, and the wall houses will be built, and the mulberry fruit will not be defeated. It's like new. And Ke Chai Sang's hometown was quite ruined, and he was deeply ashamed. "Judging from the way the land resistance marches, there is even the style of the famous general of the ancients.

Because Lu Kang was cautious and led his troops strictly, the imperial court sent him to the border to garrison him to resist the attack of the State of Wei. "In the second year of Yong'an, the general of the Baizhen Army, the governor of Xiling, from Guan Yu to the White Emperor." Don't look at Lu Kang as just a simple border general, but the place he guards is particularly important. The location of the land resistance was in Xiling, which was the natural route for the State of Wei to attack the State of Wu, and the so-called "Guan Yu" referred to "Guan Yu Se", and in the past, when Gan Ning, a tiger minister in Jiangdong, had intimidated the Shu general Guan Yu here when he was defending Yiyang with lusu town, hence the name. The line of defense from Guan Yuse to the White Emperor City was a natural barrier for Eastern Wu to resist the most advanced forces of the Wei state. Lu Kang's fledgling ability to be ordered to guard such a dangerous pass shows the degree of trust of the imperial court.

Of course, if we consider the deep-seated reasons, behind the rise of the Land Resistance also means that the Jiangdong Shi clan has risen again. In the previous articles, the author has said that Sun Quan forced Lu Xun and other family leaders to die in order to suppress the Jiangdong Shi clan. After the Jiangdong Shi clan suffered heavy losses, it instead caused chaos in the sun clan and caused turmoil and chaos in the Eastern Wu Dynasty. According to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Lu Xun "was sick and sick, and Quan wept and said goodbye, saying: 'I listened to the rumors before, and did not do the righteousness of Ru Father, so as to bear Ru.' In his later years, Sun Quan finally realized that he had overcorrected himself, so he took the initiative to express his goodwill to Lu Kang. The reason why he did this was also that he hoped that the Jiangdong Shi clan would support the crown prince Sun Liang to sit firmly on the throne.

However, the Jiangdong Shi clan was suppressed too fiercely by Sun Quan, and Sun Liang was isolated and helpless after succeeding to the throne, and was eventually deposed by the powerful ministers. After Emperor Jing's grandson Hugh succeeded to the throne, he designed to remove the powerful minister Sun Qi. In order to avoid the clan relatives from interfering in the government again, Sun Xiu began to reuse the ministers of the Jiangdong family, and Lu Kang was successively promoted to the general of Zhengbei, the general of the Zhen army, and the false festival. After the late Wu emperor Sun Hao succeeded to the throne, Lu Kang was a general of the Guanbai Zhen Army, and yao led Yizhou Mu. The legendary deeds of Lu Kang also happened after this.

According to the Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms, "The Governor of Xiling explained that the city was rebelling and sent envoys to surrender to Jin. Resisting the news, the Japanese troops ordered the generals Zuo Yi, Wu Yan, cai gong and others to go to Xiling, and the military camp was even more strictly encircled, from Chiyuan to the old city, with the inner circle and the outer yukou. Shortly after Lu Kang was transferred away from Xiling, the new governor of Xiling, Bu Yan, launched a rebellion in August of the first year of the Phoenix Dynasty (272 AD), dedicating Xiling City to the Jin state established by Sima Yan.
For Eastern Wu, once Xiling was occupied by the Jin Dynasty, the army could directly tear open the Yangtze River Graben, so as to go down the river and directly attack the Eastern Wu Emperor. Under these circumstances, Lu Kang was ordered to go to the Xiling front to defend against the enemy forces of the Jin Dynasty. "The military camp was more strictly encircled, from Akatsuki to the old city, with the inner circle explained and the outer yukou." Due to the clever means of land resistance and the timely action, he successfully separated Xiling City from the Jin army and was not occupied by the enemy army.

The leader of the Jin Dynasty was the che riding general Yang Hu, who was also a famous general of a generation. Yang Hu intended to transport grain by ship, so Lu Xun sent people to destroy the embankment to prepare for flooding the Jin army; Yang Hu sent Jingzhou to assassinate Shi Yangzhao to attack the weak areas of the State of Wu, and Lu Kang laid an ambush here in advance; Yang Hu pretended to be defeated and wanted to induce Lu Kang to send troops; the latter again did not move and continued to besiege Xiling City. Although the two fought inextricably, Lu Kang's purpose of besieging Xiling City had borne fruit. In December of the same year, While resisting the attack of the Jin Dynasty army, Lu Kang led his troops to retake Xiling City. "Resisting the fall of Xiling City, the Yiyi clan and their generals, since then, tens of thousands of people have been asked for forgiveness."
As a result, this crisis of national annihilation was smoothly resolved by the land resistance. However, despite Lu Kang's great achievements, he never had pride, let alone showed satisfaction, he "ruled the city siege, returned to the countryside in the east, looked unassuming, and was humble as usual, so he was pleased with the generals." Not only that, Lu Kang also learned the lessons of this war, deeply realized the importance of Xiling City to the Eastern Wu regime, and ordered people to strengthen the city wall day and night for future dangers.

It is worth mentioning that during the time when Lu Kang and Yang Hu fought each other, the two also became friends who felt sorry for each other. The commanders of both sides have the style of a gentleman, and although each is its master, it does not affect their relationship. According to the "Jinyang Qiu", "Resist and promote the overseas Chinese with the sheep and the good of Zha." Resist tasting the wine, drink it without doubt. Anti-disease, medicine for feeding, resistance is also pushed to obey. At that time, it was thought that Hua Yuan and Zi had repeatedly appeared in the present. Although both had been accused by their own emperors, they always regarded each other as lifelong confidants. For a period of time after that, the Jin state and the Wu state maintained a fairly peaceful period of time, and the "friendship of Lu Yang" became a beautiful talk for future generations.

In July of the third year of the Phoenix (274 AD), Lu resisted serious illness. When he learned that his limit was approaching, Lu Kang wrote to sun hao, the lord of Wu, hoping that the imperial court would strengthen the defense of the Xiling area--"The subject's father, Sun Xi, said in the west that although the west gate of the Xiling Kingdom was easy to defend, it was also easy to lose. If there is no defense, not only a county is lost, then Jingzhou is not Wu Youye. If it is in danger, it should be fought over by the country. Unfortunately, Sun Hao was addicted to pleasure and did not take Lu Kang's deathbed advice to heart. In the autumn of the same year, a generation of famous generals Lu Kang died of illness. Five years later, the Jin general Wang Hao (王濬) did indeed attack the State of Wu from the Xiling area, following the tricks left by Yang Hu before his death. Just four months later, the state of Wu was overthrown, and the world finally returned to Sima Shi. From the first time Lu Kang guarded Xiling to Sun Hao's surrender, it was exactly twenty years.
