Recently, the public appearance of Tesla's new pickup truck Cyberruck prototype has once again attracted everyone's attention.
Previously, Tesla CEO Elon Musk had said that Cyberruck would be officially delivered in 2023, and the new car would provide three endurance versions of 402km, 483km and 804km.
Judging from the outgoing real-time pictures, the production version of the prototype car Cyberruck basically follows the shape of the concept car, and the front is no longer a through-strip strip. Details, with traditional style exterior mirrors, and a large wiper at the front windshield, the traditional way to clean up the water.
Musk said that the recent prototype is not the final mass production version, and this large wiper will not appear on the production car.
In fact, Tesla has previously declared a patent for the "electromagnetic windshield wiper system", which can be equipped with physical wipers, but it is still unknown whether it can be equipped with Cyberruck in the end.
In addition, Musk also revealed that in the future, he may not plan to provide any official exterior coating for Cyberruck, and users need to pay for a third party to change colors.
Cybertruck's shell materials are extremely durable, from super-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel structural shells to Tesla armored glass. While this design makes the body more robust, it also limits the color options. So far, Cybertruck has appeared in front of everyone in this metallic appearance.
Musk emphasized: "As long as Cyberruck doesn't come with any color, you can have any color you want." ＂
In November 2019, the Cybertruck electric pickup truck debuted with a down payment of only $100 (1,000 yuan in China). Within a week of cybertruck's release, the number of predetermined units exceeded 250,000 units, and orders rose even faster than the Model 3 of that year. As of August this year, the total order volume of Cybertruck has exceeded 1.2 million units.
