Xiaomi's new patent for vehicle identification has been approved, which can improve the probability of rescue of abducted children

According to the Tianyancha App, Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. recently obtained a new patent authorization called "vehicle identification method, device, equipment and storage medium".

Judging from the patent abstract, xiaomi's publicly provided new technology program mainly includes: obtaining the target vehicle information of the user; judging whether the target vehicle is a safe vehicle according to the target vehicle information; if the judgment result is a non-safe vehicle, sending alarm information to the preset target terminal.

The main thing about this new identification patent for vehicles is to remind the parents of children in a timely manner the dangerous environment in which they are currently located, and safety measures need to be taken so that parents can react at the first time, improve the probability of rescue, reduce the number of children abducted, and effectively improve the safety of children.

It is understood that this patent was applied for by Xiaomi in September 2018.

According to public information, this technology can be regarded as a kind of "supplement" to children's watches that already have functions such as positioning, calling, voice, and counting steps, because when children are abducted and sold, children's watches generally cannot notify parents in time, seriously delaying the time to rescue. Therefore, how to enable the parents of children to be informed of the child's dangerous state in a timely manner has become the key to this patent.

Xiaomi's new patent aims to provide a new vehicle identification method, which aims to obtain the target vehicle information of the user; then determine whether the target vehicle is a safe vehicle according to the target vehicle information; if the judgment result is a non-safe vehicle, it can send alarm information to the preset target terminal.

After the target vehicle is determined to be a non-safe vehicle, the movement speed of the user can be obtained; to determine whether the user's movement speed exceeds a preset speed threshold; and control the camera to capture the image, and the captured image is sent to the target terminal.

It is expected that the new patent of "vehicle identification method, device, device and storage medium" will exist in the form of an APP in the future in children's watches, and may also be pre-installed in the vehicle.

At present, Xiaomi's car-making business is progressing smoothly, and in recent times, in addition to this car-hunting vehicle identification patent, Xiaomi has also applied for and approved a number of car-making related patents. The technologies covered in these patents are likely to be applied to Xiaomi's first smart car.
