1. Adam Cole
Before he was born, his parents wanted to name him Cole, but eventually changed it to Austin, so he chose Cole as his surname. As for why he was called Adam instead of his real name Austin, it was because he thought there were too many Austin in the wrestling world, SCSA, Austin Aries, Austin Idol, etc., so he chose Adam as his name.
2. Seth Rollins
The choice of Rollins was a tribute to one of his favorite bands, Black Flag lead singer Henry Rollins, and Seth was just a name he liked
3. A.J. Styles
His original name was Allen Neal Jones, and in life, everyone called him AJ, so AJ retained his ring name. The manager of his league at the time said that you were teaming up with Damien Still and had to add a last name to your name, just call it Style. Hence the name AJ Styles. AJ said he hated the name for a long time.
4. Braun Strowman

5. Ryback
His ring name is derived from two parts. Ry comes from his real name Ryan, back from his childhood nickname silverback, and together they become Ryback.
Ryback said that he is a fan of the Terminator series, and the name Ryback was also inadvertently conceived by him when watching Terminator 2, and the character was initially set to resemble the image of the Terminator.

7. Jay Lethal
He used to take a train with his two friends, John and Eric, to wrestling school for training. On the way, they thought they might be well trained and would become famous in wrestling, so they started thinking about their ring name on the train. He thought of two names, Jay Lethal and Jay Cypha, and finally chose the former.
He had also thought about using his real name, but his father was very opposed. He was only 16 years old at the time, and his father said he didn't want anyone to know his real name, fearing that someone would steal his identity if he knew his real name.
8. Colt Cottage
His last name was Colton, and in life his nickname was Colt, so he kept Colt as his ring name. He had long wanted to use McCullah as his ring name, but then wrestlers at his wrestling school started pronouncing his name quickly, and they all found that it sounded like Coca-Cola. So he tried to change his name a lot, and finally chose Cabana. Cabana came from the song Copacabana, and he thought the name read smoothly, and his coach, Ace Steel, thought it was a good name, so he eventually named it Colt Cabana.
9. Kevin Owens
Kevin Steen came to WWE to change the ring name to Kevin Owens, who comes from his son Owen's name. And his son's name owes Owen from his favorite wrestler, Owen Hart.
Speaking of Owen Hart, the title of Game was originally planned to be given to Owen Hart, but due to his unexpected death, the title was finally given to Triple H.
10. Finn Bálor
His ring name is taken from two irish mythological figures, the legendary hero Fionn MacCool and the one-eyed demon king Bálor.
