Why does the founding general have a military disability certificate? It's related to an escape from death
Luo Ruiqing, the founding general of the People's Liberation Army, was a senior general with outstanding military achievements in the People's Liberation Army, who spent several decades on horseback and devoted all his efforts to the success of the revolution and the construction of new China. He not only adheres to justice and principles, but at the same time is brave and good at war, and has repeatedly passed by the god of death, but he has "come back to life from the dead" and is a person with a great fortune.
After the defeat of the Great Revolution in 1927, the blood of the revolutionaries flowed into rivers, and Luo Ruiqing was bent on engaging in military struggle, taking up a gun and fighting with the reactionaries, so he took the initiative to propose to the central authorities to go to the Soviet area to engage in armed struggle, and as he wished, he was sent to the Red Fourth Army in western Fujian.
The more guns and bullets rained, the more danger there was, and the most dangerous one was the Battle of Guanyin Cliff in the second "anti-encirclement and suppression" campaign in 1931.
At that time, the division headquarters was set up in a small house of a fellow villager on the top of the hill, and the political commissar General Luo was too tall to bow his head when entering and leaving, and Yang Dezhi, the commander of the special agent company, asked the soldiers to cut down trees and build another shed as a command.
The battle was quite fierce, the enemy pounced on the hill, the artillery fire was continuous, and the newly erected shed soon collapsed, fortunately, General Luo observed the enemy situation outside the shed and was not crushed inside. He did not think about his own safety at all, but concentrated on observing the enemy situation.
Suddenly, a bullet came, and General Luo did not hold on to the support around him, and fell heavily to the ground, blood gushing from his head.
Although it was bandaged, the blood was still flowing because it was close to the temple, breaking the arterial blood vessels. It was later learned that the bullet had entered from one side of his cheek and flew out through his mouth, puncturing the temporomandibular joint on the left side and causing quite serious injuries.
Doctor Ye Qingshan hurried to find a way to stop the bleeding, but for a while he could not find the tools to stop the bleeding, he inadvertently touched the silver dollar in his pocket to pay the party fee, and in a hurry, he wrapped the silver dollar with clean gauze for several layers, pressed it on the gushing blood, and then pressed and bandaged.
After the battle, Ye Qingshan performed debridement surgery on General Luo. Saying that it was an operation, it was simply cleared of the wound, and did not dare to break the bone, saying that it was too dangerous, and the operation had to be done in the rear hospital of the Upper Red Army.
Two soldiers carried stretchers for nine days, Ye Qingshan followed all the way, and after reaching the rear hospital, he operated on General Luo and removed a pile of broken bones.
After the operation, General Luo was plagued by pneumonia, a high fever did not go away, and he was unconscious again, and it took several days to wake up, and he knew that he had walked through the "ghost gate" again.
However, another episode followed.
A little ghost hygienist, out of kindness, followed the doctor's advice to use the time of the march break to change general Luo's medicine, but his medical knowledge was really effective.
It is reasonable to say that if the gauze and the blood scab after the injury coagulate together, when changing the dressing, the gauze on the wound should be soaked with normal saline and then slowly removed.
But when he saw that he could not remove the gauze, he dragged it hard, and at once he pulled the sealed wound open, and the blood flowed out like a small fountain.
The little hygienist saw that the situation was not good and panicked and called for a doctor.
Ye Qingshan sweated profusely, used all the martial arts of his body, pressed and pinched, not bad, and finally stopped the bleeding.
This time, as soon as General Luo said it, it took on a comedic color, and he said that he touched the nose of Yama King again.
That year, Luo Ruiqing was 24 years old.
Because the temporomandibular joint was not lifted when it was reset, it affected his chewing function, and also left a problem that the mouth could not be opened, not only was it difficult to laugh, but it was always possible to speak and always gave people a feeling of gritting their teeth.
General Luo always said such a famous saying in his propaganda and agitation: "To do revolution is to grit your teeth, and I Luo Ruiqing have already clenched my teeth. ”
Later, when yan'an elected the seventh deputy, some people said that Luo Ruiqing was too serious, did not smile, and people who were not familiar with him were afraid of him.
This was really a big misunderstanding, Ye Qingshan specifically explained it, saying that General Luo's surgery was done by me, and I knew it. It's not that he doesn't laugh, it's that he can't laugh, that he can't say it without gritting his teeth, it's not his fault. He is actually still very kind to his comrades, as you will know when you come into contact. People who have dealt with General Luo said that he was very humorous and very popular.
Because of this injury, after the founding of New China, the Central People's Government issued Luo Ruiqing with a certificate of disability for revolutionary soldiers.
On his 69th birthday, Luo Dajian wrote in retrospect of his life:
The little boy defected to the feudal family, and although the tribulations were flawless.
The Jiang bandits slaughtered the criminals and the people were angry, and the blood of the martyrs was poured with red flowers.
The revolution has not wasted its life, and it has been humiliating and exaggerated for twenty years.
I am now crippled and old, and I am determined to be in a thousand miles.
This small poem is the true portrayal of the life of the great general Luo Ruiqing. In 1978, General Luo died at the age of 73.
