According to the qing palace archives, in December of the 60th year of Qianlong, Yongyan, who was already the crown prince, was surrounded by four women, the crown princess Xi tara (Empress Xiaoshurui), the side concubine Niu Hulu (Empress Xiaoherui), the official woman Liu Shi, and the official woman Hou Shi. These two official women, one was the birth mother of the emperor's eldest son Mu Junwang and the concubine of Emperor Yu, and the other was the birth mother of the sixth daughter of the emperor, Concubine Hua.
On the first day of the first lunar month of the first year of Jiaqing, the main seats of the Jiaqing harem were empress dowagers of the Xi tara clan, the noble concubine Niu Hulu clan, the concubine Liu clan, the Ying concubine Hou clan, the Rong Chang in the Liang clan, and the Chun Chang in the Wang clan.
This Rongchang is what we call the Rong Concubine.

In fact, in the harem of the Qing Dynasty, there must be a reason for concubines to be promoted and demoted, not that there is no unprovoked love, nor unprovoked hatred.

However, this rong concubine Liang's health was not very good, and she died in the fifth year after receiving the honorific title, and it is estimated that she was more than forty years old. On February 28, 1977, Rong Concubine was buried in the Changling Concubine Garden.
