OTA (over-the-air upgrade) is one of the greatest features of Tesla Motors, tesla will occasionally push the latest software upgrade services to car owners through WIFI or 4G network. With OTA updates, vehicles can add new features and refine existing ones, making Tesla vehicles safer and more powerful over time.
2021.44.5 As the upcoming OTA update, let's see what has been updated this time.
- (Visual) automatic parking
Scope of application: Worldwide
Applicable vehicles: Older Model S/X
Your vehicle can now identify vertical parking spaces by painting the edge of the road.
-Air conditioning in the rear
Applicable Vehicles: New Model S/X (2021+)
You can now adjust the rear air conditioning and seat heating by tapping on the air conditioner > rear and front touch screen.
-Driver settings
Applicable vehicles: S/3/X/Y
Each driver settings now has its own separate "residential" and "company" addresses. To manage, select your settings, click Navigate, and then press and hold Company or Residential.
- Vehicle Cloud Synchronization (Beta)
Applicable vehicles: New Model S/X (2021+)/3/Y
Driver profile settings, such as seats, mirrors, and steering wheel position, can now be synced between vehicles under the same Tesla account. To enable a specific profile, click the profile icon in the status bar > Driver Settings > Vehicle Sync (Beta).
Note: Some settings will only sync between the same car model.
Note: This feature is only enabled on selected test vehicles.
-Rear seat belt reminders
Scope of application: Chinese mainland
Now, to comply with local safety regulations, your vehicle's rear seat belt reminder is enabled. If the seat is equipped with a child seat, tap the seat to mute the reminder for the rest of the trip.
- Driver's door unlock mode
Applicable vehicles: 3/Y
Click "Control > Car Lock > Driver's Door Unlock Mode" to unlock only the driver's door when approaching the vehicle.
