On December 11, Wang Huaqing, chief expert of the immunization program of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said at a press conference of the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council that as of December 3, the adverse reactions reported by the new crown vaccine for children aged 3-11 across the country were generally stable. More than 95% of the adverse reactions reported in the 3-11 years of age are general reactions. Most of the abnormal reactions are allergic rashes.
All age groups reported a rate of severe abnormal reactions below one in a million, with the 3-11 age group having a lower incidence than adults and adolescents.
