In order to plan and implement the key task of "inheriting and carrying forward the history, culture and spirit of the Great Wall" proposed in the report of the 12th Party Congress of Jiayuguan City, on December 10, the Jiayuguan Municipal Cultural Center invited the main leaders of the Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature and the Municipal Artists Association and the teachers and some backbone students of the Civic Art School to go to the Jiuquan 1969 Culture and Art Creative Park Art Museum and jointly carried out the theme discussion and exchange seminar with the Jiuquan Artists Association.
The exchange activity was presided over by Ding Jun, vice chairman and secretary general of jiuquan artists association, and was divided into two parts: theme discussion and work observation.
At the theme seminar, artists from Jiajiu and Jiujiu spoke one after another, talking about their prospects for the 14th Five-Year Plan, so that the Great Wall culture will shine with new brilliance in the art creation of the new era, and the art industry will have great potential to respond to the times and serve the people with literary and artistic creation. The lively discussion resonated with everyone from time to time, and the exchange activities were wonderful, and bursts of applause broke out from time to time.
After the theme seminar, the participants visited the "Millennium Jade Wine Spring, the Most Beautiful in Suzhou" Joint Exhibition of Fine Arts Works of the 6th Fourteen Cities (Prefectures) of Gansu Province. The Fourteen Cities (Prefectures) Fine Arts Joint Exhibition is a brand exhibition jointly organized by the Gansu Provincial Art Association and various cities (prefectures), and since the first exhibition was held in Jinchang in 2013, it has been continued in Dingxi, Baiyin, Jiayuguan and Zhangye. This exhibition has become a permanent brand project of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association.
During the observation of the works, Mi Jinsuo, a member of the Sino-AMERICAN Association, the director of the Jiayuguan City Cultural Center, and the chairman of the Municipal Artists Association, combined his years of creative experience, experience and topic selection to explain the excellent works in the exhibition and share his creative experience. On how to base on local culture, how to follow the law of artistic creation, and create high-level fine art works, he made a profound and meticulous exposition. So that the listener has an accurate grasp of the future direction of creation and a clear idea.
The exchange and interaction between Jiayuguan and Jiuquan artists deepened their feelings and enhanced their friendship. In the next step, the Jiayuguan Municipal Cultural Center will further build a platform for mutual assistance and co-construction for the art circles of Jiayuguan and Jiuquan, and strive to promote artists from the two places to consciously undertake the historical mission, jointly display the fruitful results of the "Great Wall Cultural Spirit" with paintbrushes, so that the works can better express the local customs and the essence of painting art, broaden the ideas of art work services, and improve the level of art creation in the two cities. In the future, under the guidance of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association, we should realize the complementarity of resource advantages and work together to promote the art works of the two cities to a broader world.
